Tests 2011 - A Ferrari no le importan sus rivales
"Tenemos que mantener los pies en el suelo y concentrarnos en nuestro propio trabajo, sin distraernos en lo que los demás están haciendo". Ese es el mensaje que el jefe de Ferrari, Stefano Domenicalli, ha enviado a su gente tras los dos primeros test de pretemporada.

La primera toma de contacto con el nuevo F150 cumplió con las expectativas creadas y, salvo el incidente mecánico que protagonizó Felipe Massa, en la Scuderia son moderadamente optimista sobre el verdadero potencial del monoplaza. El propio jefe de la escudería del Cavallino Rampante, Stefano Domenicalli, aseguró en la web del equipo que "lo importante es hacer muchos kilómetros en el primer entrenamientos los hemos logrado".
Tanto para Domenicalli como para el resto de integrantes del equipo rojo ahora los tiempos son pocos significativos y por eso se centran más en conocer en profundidad el nuevo coche y también en el comportamiento de los neumáticos Pirelli. "El cronómetro reveló poco y será igual en las próximas sesiones de entrenamientos. Estamos muy contentos con nuestro debut, pero son perfectamente conscientes de que todavía hay mucho trabajo por hacer, tanto en pista como en la fábrica".
Domenicalli coincide con Alonso en que no será hasta la primera cita de la temporada en Bahein cuando se sepa realmente dónde está cada equipo en la parrilla. "Las primeras conclusiones sólo se establecerán en Bahrein cuando las cosas empiezan a ponerse serias".
La escudería italiana ha informado que Fernando Alonso estuvo presente en Maranello para trabajar en el simulador antes de volver a subirse al F150 el próximo día 10 de febrero, esta vez en Jerez de la Frontera.

Maranello, 4 February –There’s an air of great concentration in the corridors of Maranello, after the first three days of testing with the F150. The team pretty much got through the programme established prior to the test, which centred mainly on getting to grips with the behaviour of the new car and on understanding the new Pirelli tyres. On the reliability front, the first assessment can be seen as positive: the mishap that forced Felipe Massa to spend a long time in the garage yesterday is in no way the sign of some congenital defect in the car.
“As we already said at the launch, the important thing is to do many kilometres at the first test and in that we have succeeded, “ said Stefano Domenicali on www.ferrari.com. “The stopwatch revealed little and that will also be the case in the next test sessions. We are pleased with our debut, but we are perfectly aware that there is still a lot of work to do, both on track and in the factory. Over the next few weeks, we must keep our feet solidly on the ground and concentrate on our own job, without being distracted by what the others are up to. The first conclusions will only be drawn in Bahrain when things start getting serious.”
Fernando Alonso was also in Maranello today, spending a long time in the simulator. The team got back from Valencia late morning and by Monday the mechanics will already be on their way again, this time to Jerez de la Frontera where testing resumes on Thursday 10 February: this time Felipe will be the first on track for two days, with Fernando rounding off the last two days of Saturday and Sunday.
