The most interesting and informative things this weekend comes from Ron and Lauda interviews after the race:
- Ron sounds like the tokens for next year would not be enough for them to make all desired changes. So, they know what they have to change and improve "in the medium term" but it`s kinda tied hands situation for them for the next year still.
- McLaren-Honda needs and seeks for rules to be loosen a bit in order for them to catch up. Good thing about it was that Lauda also told that Mercedes understand very well that these rules are very harsh on late entry by new manufacturer and it sounds like all the teams will try to do something about that. Let`s hope so!
- The team will anounce a new sponsor next week as Ron confirmed that also
- McLaren-Honda wants both drivers to stay and have firm contracts with them, so it`s Jenson decision if he will be in the team next year, but we could guess it was that conversation between Ron and Jenson that leads to the latter changing his mind between Singapore and Suzuka.
- Last but not least Ron have changed and he sad he wouldn`t criticize Alonso publicly but will speak with him because he understand how emotional a driver could be when in the car caught by the moment but he find Alonso`s comments not constructive.
Drivers 10 out of 10, the rest have to catch up by a huge margin from PU to aero, strategy and operations.
