F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has had his initial say on the matter to Reuters and reckons it's the Spaniard, currently at McLaren, which is the more likely contender of the two...

"It's possible I suppose, let's see," Ecclestone said of Alonso. "They've got new management now at McLaren. Maybe he's fed up being there and they're fed up having him."

But Vettel? "I think not. I don't think Seb would want to be with Lewis."
