I used to see Alonso as the “villain” when he was in a competitive Ferrari but I’ve since become a huge fan. He’s clearly the most talented, well-rounded driver on the grid, even if he’s not the quickest. Unbelievable adaptability.

- Fucking hell Es10ban is consistent.
- This, right here, is 1/2 of the definitive proof that Allons-y is a Top 5 Greatest Driver. It’s the shittiest car on the grid (not the Sauber, because it’s supposed to be shit-tier) and yet Nando dragged that thing out of Q1 and Q2.
- Of course, the other half will be race pace, and unless the car blows up again, McLaren will have to come up with the greatest fucking race strategy they’ll ever have to come up with since the team ever formed. But when they do, and the car stays whole, I bet you 10 Bitcoin he’d get on the Top 5.
