Bueno lo que pongo a continuación interpretarlo como queráis, viene del foro de autosport (credibilidad ninguna pero ahí lo dejo):
During winter, even before winter testing, i heard this wild rumor, it wasnt sure which team, but Mclaren was the favorit for it.
Here goes(better sit down)
Bargeboard DRD
Edit: i doubt it but still let it be heard.
It supposed to be from european season start
Edit2: whit fluidic switch so its not moveble aero
+
@ mclarensmps (Drag Reduction Device)
Basically an F duct in the bargeboard area but done in a way as not to contravene moveable aero rules.
I read the same rumour and asked about it on here but got no response.
Predictably for me, Ninja'd by Joeski.
+
Wasn't the whole point of the F-duct to sidestep (legally) the moveable aero rules? Wink
I guess what you are saying is that the speculated change to the MCL33's bargeboards would be a drag reduction device, but not a moveable one.
+
That's the rumour anyway yeah.
The f duct was just an example, the rumour only mentioned "a fluidic switch in the bargeboard area" iirc.
+
Pues eso ahí lo dejo
PD: me lo he traído del BAR y del GP de Australia,
