Gracias a Xevi Pujolar (ingeniero de pista de Maldonado) tenemos los comentarios a pie de pista de una vuelta al circuito de Singapur con Maldonado y el equipo de Tv3:
» #Singapore 5.073km and 61laps no major changes on track. Some changes on kerbs T1 and T2
» No major changes on track but the kerb in T2 means is not possible to cut so much between T1-3
» Activation point of DRS is exit of T5. Kerbs are generally shallow. Only T2 and T10 with higher kerb
» The straight line between T5 and T7 is bumpy. T7 is the hardest braking point
» At T8 the track is getting tighter. One of the slowest parts of the track
» Here now in T10. Here the driver needs to be precise. A small mistake could end up on the wall
» After the bridge T13, the slowest corner. Slippery underbraking. Good exit here important leading to straight and end S2
» 5073Qm y 61 vueltas. No hay cambios importantes.Algunas modificaciones en los pianos T1 y T2.
» No hay cambios significativos en la pista pero en el piano T2 es dificil reducir la velocidad.
» Activacion del DRS a la salida T5. Pianos normalmente poco profundos.Solo T2 y T10 con pianos mas altos.
» Linea recta entre T5 y T7 y llena de baches. T7 la frenada mas fuerte.
» T8 pista estrecha y lenta.
» In S3 getting in T15-21, many corners together. Difficult part of the track. Good rythm required
» T10 el piloto tiene que ser muy pr iso, un solo error y puede terminar contra la pared.
