Some people think that Aston Martin brought their old "illegal" front wings back, and YES it’s true they brought one back "CONF2"

The bottom one is the old "illegal" front wing (CONF2) used in Miami, Saudi Arabia and Baku, but without a third bracket with a pivot employed (red arrow), as you can see on the right side in the first picture.

Speculations said exactly this third bracket with a pivot employed could have been the reason why the FIA intervened, because it has not been used since Monaco.

So YES, Aston Martin brought one of the old front wings to the Dutch GP back, it is the old specification (CONF2)

(CONF1) is still missing used in Monaco, Australia, Bahrain
