About Fernando's car, exhaust temperature has increased so we judged that something must have happened and decided to stop.
As for Jenson, temperature has increased in the other part that is monitored by sensor, and if it continued to run, it should cause damage somewhere, so called him in to retire. This as well probably is originated in exhaust, but JB's issue is completely different from Fernando's. It would be better actually if it was the same problem, but it's tough that the troubles are separate/unrelated.
Also it has totally nothing to do with the token parts that has been introduced for this race. Wouldve been better if the new component was the cause.
Nothing went well and worked in harmony, and GP has finished when we noticed. We were prepared that it would be tough race, but encountered too many troubles from Friday and couldnt work on setting enough, and today it was all about just putting the cars on track for running, before retiring in the end..
The destination/target we're aiming at is very high so that we push things to the ultimate limit, so we are fully aware that many things should occur. Yet the honest feeling is "why all the troubles have to happen at once". We're sorry for fans as well, it's the toughest weekend so far.
more depressing/shocking/tough than the first race as well as Malaysia where we saw both of our cars retired. Feels like forced to stand at start line again.
Depending on situation, we might have to consider about introducing what we are developing right now earlier than intended.
if the post-race tweet from one journo posted here is to be believed, Arai spoke for 40min for JP press post race. I suspect he might have explained more about technical details but that's all we have from jp press, for now.
